He initiated his acting career in the theatre before transitioning to the Zulu drama "Hlala Kwabafileyo" in 1993, followed by a role in the Zulu film "Ubambo Lwami" as David. In 1995, he participated in "Cycle Simenon," and in 1998, he gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of 'Zebedee Matabane' in the television soap opera "Isidingo," maintaining the role successfully until 2014. His remarkable performance earned him a Golden Horn Award for Best Actor in a TV Soap in 2006. Despite this achievement, he left the series in early 2014 due to a disciplinary dispute with the show. He was twice nominated for the SAFTA Golden Horn Award for Best Actor in a TV Soap in 2007 and 2010. Additionally, he played the role of 'Laqhasha' for five seasons in the television serial "Sgudi 'Snaysi."
