Born on August 25, 1970, Celeste Ntuli is a prominent South African comedian and actress, often hailed as the queen of Zulu comedy. Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first local female comic to release a one-woman show DVD, titled "Seriously, Celeste." Her comedic journey began in 2005 with a performance in a Durban church, and she later became a finalist on the second season of SABC 1's "So You Think You're Funny" competition in 2009. Officially entering the comedy scene in 2010, Ntuli has graced renowned comedy showcases, including the Blacks Only comedy showcase in 2010 and 2012, the SA Comic’s Choice Awards in 2012, and the inaugural Stand-Up Zulu comedy show at the Durban Playhouse in 2011.
