Bobo DaBeat, born Bongani, is an ambitious, motivated, and hardworking individual known for his spirited 'Ayoba soonnnn' catchphrase. Raised in Hammanskraal and Kwaggafontein, he attended Ematjeni Primary School, Siphiwe Junior and High School, and Makhosini High School. His passion for broadcasting led him to TNG FM, later TUT FM, where he started while studying Journalism. He then joined Soshanguve Community Radio and wrote for Tshwane News before moving to SABC's Ikwekwezi FM in 2003. Here, he achieved recognition and won awards for his Afternoon Drive show. Bobo DaBeat now co-hosts Sivukile Breakfast on Ikwekwezi FM, covering a wide range of topics. Besides radio, he is a successful house music artist, and community volunteer, and holds certificates and diplomas in Business Management. He is known for his vibrant spirit, dedication, and motto, 'Ayoba soonnnn’.
