The two-day Special ANC NEC meeting starting on Saturday is seen as a make or break gathering for the ANC tripartite alliance. The meeting is called to finally decide the future of the decades-long relations between the ANC and the SACP. With the SACP steadfast on its stance to go it alone in the next polls, and the ANC having expressed its strong opposition to that, its Secretary General Fikile Mbalula says the SACP decision has sparked a serious debate on the dual membership.
