Nandipha Ngoqo has dedicated her life to serving her community. During apartheid, she and her family risked their livelihoods by providing shelter and support to anti-apartheid activists, including Siphiwo Mthimkhulu of the Black Consciousness Movement. Her work as a social worker further strengthened her passion for helping others. Today, she continues to make a difference in Motherwell through her soup kitchen, providing food and clothing to children, adults and elderly community members twice a week.
