Aired, Friday 29 May: Thembi discovers that her accounts have been frozen and all her assets have been seized because she missed court proceedings. Desperate to protect Sabelo from triggers, she sedates him and removes Gumede’s tombstone.

Aired, Monday 25 May: The season opens with a flash-forward of Sabelo being chased in Johannesburg, before cutting back three weeks earlier. During Gumede’s ukujikijela ritual, Sabelo is overwhelmed by traumatic memories and suffers a mental breakdown.
