: Channel Africa has become the latest SABC radio platform to launch its audio-visual podcast. Going by the name of Channel Africa Conversations, it is a brand-new weekly podcast produced by the station’s news division to further serve our dynamic Africa-wide audiences, in a world where journalism and the media in general, are under pressure from the raging fourth industrial revolution. The focus of the Channel Africa Conversations podcast is strictly on news and current affairs developments in and about the African continent. It seeks to engage in conversations with influential voices, interrogating Africa’s development trajectory, and exploring the continent’s role and influence in geopolitical issues, through the prism of an African perspective. “We deem it our role as Channel Africa to provide a platform for the continent to have these informative and empowering conversations with itself and about itself, on how to achieve the Africa we all want”, explains Thami Dickson, the Editor for News and Current Affairs at Channel Africa.
The Channel Africa Conversations Podcast is anchored by the seasoned broadcaster and news man Peter Ndoro and is uploaded on YouTube every Thursday morning and hopefully soon on our SABC Plus as well. Check it out
